Why You Should Bring Evolvement to Your School

Hi my name is Kaycee Lease and I have been a part of Evolvement since 2015. I’m currently a member of the Evolvement New Mexico Leadership Team. I go to Tucumcari High School and will be graduating in May of 2017. Being a part of Evolvement has been a great way for me to express myself and teach others in a fun, exciting way – if you are considering bringing Evolvement to your school, I highly recommend it. At first I only wanted to be in Evolvement to help my school’s National Honor Society get money. The Evolvement program is free and provides up to $1,700 in funding to its partners for participating in the program. But, when I learned more about the organization, I was excited about it because students who participate in the program get points that they can use to buy cool things; participate in fun, impactful learning activities; and, if they’re really into it, get a chance to be a member of the Evolvement New Mexico Leadership Team! Since I’ve joined Evolvement my personality has really opened up to new things. I can talk in front of a crowd, I have learned tons of new information, and – importantly – I can help people understand the dangers of tobacco products. Evolvement is a great opportunity for any high school student. Being involved in Evolvement has many positive outcomes and great memory-making opportunities. I believe schools should participate in Evolvement because it is not everyday that you get the chance to move people in a better direction just by talking to them.
